This year and every year, I am thankful for you in my life.

I couldn’t let Thanksgiving week pass without taking a moment to reflect and express gratitude. I’m grateful for my family, friends, and even my furry companion, Indy. Most importantly, I’m immensely grateful for my clients. Your loyalty, trust, repeat business, and referrals have contributed significantly to my success in this challenging real estate market. Thank you sincerely.

Expressing gratitude often involves giving back to those less fortunate. This year, I decided to declutter my closet and donate excess warm coats. After researching organizations that accept clean, gently used warm coats, I thought you might be interested in doing the same.

“Expressing gratitude often involves giving back to those less fortunate.”

Maybe you’d like to sift through your closet, too. Here are three ideas for you:

1. One Warm Coat is a national organization with an agreement with J.Crew. You can donate coats at J.Crew stores and, as a reward, receive a $25 gift certificate applicable toward a $125 purchase.

2. Person To Person is a local organization in lower Fairfield County that aids 28,000 people in need. They accept donations at 1864 Post Road, Darien, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

3. Clothes to Kids of Fairfield County in Stamford accepts donations of warm clothes in kids’ and adult sizes. Contact them to schedule a donation drop-off.

I’m personally considering donating to Person To Person. I’d love to know if you plan to donate to any of these groups or have other ideas. Have a wonderful day and a joyous Thanksgiving!
